How To Capture Browser In Obs
OBS recorder no longer able to capture browser video when browser is not the agile window

Hi,
I'm non certain what happened but in the past week (maybe afterwards updating to the latest version?) OBS I noticed is no longer able to tape streaming videos played in my browsers UNLESS it is the main active window being used. I'm non certain why this is equally it did so previously without incident. I have it set to "window capture" and am selecting either firefox or chrome as the source. (I would use browser capture but for some reason OBS is not recognizing chrome and firefox when I employ them and so I cannot select them when selectign to record browser I take to select them using window capsture) Previously it would non allow me to minimize the window or it would cease recording merely at to the lowest degree it would notwithstanding record will allowing me to utilise other active windows as long equally I kept the browser windows being recorded maximized even if it was not active and upfront. Now if I practice anything else OBS goes blackness screen (or in some cases white screen for some sites) when tryign to grab either firefox or chrome. I've tried with multiple unlike sites and it seems to be on every site at present for both firefox and chrome. I tried the suggested ready on youtube for chrome which is to disable hardware acceleration in chrome but that did not work. Is anyone notwithstanding able to employ some other window while still being able to record streaming video in a groundwork browser video? Too tried the options "same executable" just that didn't help matters. Oddly when I mouse over my lesser taskbar in windows every bit if by magic the video will offset recording again as if zip happened but as soon equally I motion the mouse away from my taskbar is black screens unless I click on that specific browser and and so information technology restart normal recording over again. I can't for the life of me effigy this problem out. Do I have to acvtively be using the window at present in order to tape information technology? Anyone accept suggestions or an caption as to why this is? Whatsoever aid appreciated!

Update: very odd... It will let me play a game while recording still Just if I try to click on a dissimilar browser it volition black screen. Can't explicate information technology.
